If you know this couple then you know they have been inseparable from the start. They have a strong love for one another and the pair are perfect for each other.

Samuel and Iris caught first glimpse of each other when they were in grade school. Samuel was a basketball star for Mora High and Iris was a cheerleader for Pecos. Small town rivals!!

Fast forward a few years when Iris was in her senior year of high school and Sam attending his first year of college the two reconnected and they decided on forever..

Now starting to see what the future would look like, Sam decided to leave his small town and experience the city life in Santa Fe with Iris. They lived there for one year with Iris's grandparents Anna and Marcos. Both started working full time for the state, but once the clock hit 5'clock on Friday they would rush back to the ranch in mora.. spending countless hours cruising the back roads of monte aplanado, fishing at murphy lake, stopping to drink an evening cup of coffee at Grandma aggies, and several ranch duties like bailing hay and chasing cows.

Mora was becoming more and more like home to them, even though that had been home to Sam his whole life.

Sam showed her how beautiful a life could be there for them, in Mora.

Well, back to Santa Fe they would go, Grandma Josie would be waiting for them to accompany her on their lunch breaks, it gave her something to look forward to everyday, she often told Iris that Mora was to far, there's nothing to do over there but Grandma Josie knew that Samuel would take care of her.. A whole year had went by and both new it was time to pack up and start there new adventure. Sam and Iris moved to Las Vegas in 2019 to there first home, Iris waitressed at Pino's restaurant and Sam sold fire wood. They made it work, they were happy and all that mattered was they were together.

Years had passed, Iris had started to work for several state and county agency's, Sam had went back to his roots working for his dads Heating and Cooling business and life felt like they were missing something.. So generously enough Samuels parents Alvin and Annie opened there home so the two can save up and move to what felt like home, (Mora).

Their house needed lots of work, many weekends, and lots of late hours after work but most importantly lots of help! before that could begin Iris found out her and Sam would be expecting their first child in early October of 2023.

They welcomed Samuel James Abeyta into the world on 10/5/23, he was a gift from God, the missing piece. The new parents worked tirelessly to finish what they could eventually call there own..

Come January 1, 2025 the two celebrated there 7 year dating anniversary, when Samuel asked Iris to Marry Him!

The only obvious answer was YES! Iris started the wedding planning and bomb! here we are.. days away from celebrating big day surrounded by there close family and friends.

The rest is history.
